For the second program in our series, The Inuit, we will view the movie, Nanook of the Northfollowed by a discussion led by Kathleen Osgood Dana, scholar with the University of the Arctic and Stephen B. Young, scholar with the Center for Northern Studies at Sterling College. This movie, originally released in 1922 was directed by Robert J. Flaherty and documents a year in the life of an Inuit family. Join us on October 18, 2007 at 7pm in the Hayes Room at the Library.
